5 days ago Pretty cool to see Mark Kenyon make the switch to a saddle for his run-n-gun setup. Can't wait to give his latest episode a listen. If you're not already a subscriber to the Wired to Hunt Podcast and YouTube channel, you need to do that now! #Repost@firstname.lastname@example.org ( @get_repost) ・・・
I finally tried using a tree saddle this past season for my mobile deer hunts and it was an absolute game changer. As of right now, I don’t plan on going back to using a tree stand for my run-n-gun or public land hunts. The ease of use, portability, and versatility of the saddle system made it a great fit for how I hunt. That said, I know there are a lot of ways I can tweak my system. In our new episode of the Wired To Hunt Podcast, coming out tomorrow AM, in addition to a whole lot of other stuff, we touch on our guest’s very dialed in saddle hunting gear/system. Very cool stuff that has inspired me to make some adjustments to what I’m doing. More to come soon on my own plans/tweaks for saddle hunting in 2019.

2 weeks ago Introducing The Ten.
The best is pretty hard to define. What makes it the best for one hunter could be wildly different than another. While a hunter in the Midwest might value the P&Y score more than anything, a DIY public land hunter in the deep South might value the amount of sweat equity invested more than the size of the rack. The self-filmer might value the creativity that went into the imagery or the documentation of the story. Maybe it was a hunter’s first buck, or a Veteran battling his demons who found an escape into the whitetail woods. None of those judgments are wrong. There is no definition of the “best” for the Tethrd Ten.
That’s why we are letting saddle hunters decide with their votes.
Please tag someone who should enter their buck. Please share with all the saddle hunters you know.
The Tethrd Ten 2018 serialized commemorative coin is only presented to those voted as the best.
You can’t buy it.
You can’t grow it.
You can’t build it.
You have to earn it.
