I know this os an odd admission, but... this is the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. I will also admit that I like how I look now better than I ever have my whole life 😏🙃. Go figure... literally. I was a competitive Figure Skater for 15 years and being tiny was the goal. There was a time as a teenager that being slim and super lean was everything I was trying to achieve. Truthfully no matter how you ”decide” to do it. Eating poorly, and being super lean as a woman isn’t what’s healthiest for your body in the long term. I know some of us eat very well and are naturally lean, not what I’m referencing. I’m talking about restricting calories and eating poorly to be tiny. * ⠀⠀

Strength is everything and lifting changed my life 💪🏾 go grab some barbells ladies and get out of your boring cardio routine that i guarantee is going to get you achieving results you’ve always wanted! *⠀⠀
1- Lift heavy 2-3/days wk
2- High intensity intervals are “the best” workouts!
3- Watch the way you fuel your body. Eat regularly, with protein, Whole Foods, and smart portions for your goals. ⠀⠀

If you move, in any shape or form, especially if you’re an athlete,you should train your core. It’s what holds you together and acts as a platform for the rest of your body to move off of. The stronger and stable the core, the more powerful and stronger a person can be.

Fitness needs to be fun and challenging. I talk about being active and having fun with our workout all the time. Sometimes we can get bored with our current sport or routine. Therefore, It is about trying different sports and activities to incorporate them to your already existing routine and maybe switching sport for a while. I personally been there several times. I done #bodybuilding #crossfit #powerlifting and currently I am lifting for bodybuilding again and training #brazialianjiujitsu and cardio boxing few times a month. So it is all about trying different sports and activities that can help you find your preferred fitness activities that you can do them often during the week. #foodfitntravel

Today was another tough one.
So yesterday I was still tired, Today I was really sore !
How to fight the “I wanna be lazy” attitude.... Just get up & do it (well that’s what works for me) & thinking about what a crappy day I’ll have if I don’t work out. Also if you think you’ll be more tired afterwards, you won’t, you’ll have more energy then you started with.
Today I did Biceps & Triceps, aiming to hit 400 reps on both.
10 reps each set for 10 sets with 4 different exercises (for each muscle group) I started with biceps then before starting triceps I did KB oblique Matches 4 rds 10reps ea side, then went to triceps, & finished of with 15 mins on the stairs & 5 mins on the lateral machine.
I can honestly say 1 really under estimated those marches I’m already sore.
2. The swell & burn in my arms were serious lol & my arms felt way bigger than they look in the pics lol

What’s your go-to favorite food? Mine is anything Mexican. To be honest, as I’m typing this I’m thinking about grabbing tacos for lunch.🤷🏼♀️🌮
The fact that I’m trying to save $$ for vacation next week is really the only thing making me think twice about buying them.
I find it funny how the second you commit to living a healthy lifestyle people think that it has become your LIFE. Sorry, but that’s not the case over here! I don’t spend my days eating only salads, taking apple cider vinegar shots, drinking greens, and limiting carbs. (I love them too much 🥖🍎🥦)
I’m a REAL girl! Health + fitness isn’t my whole life - and it doesn’t have to be yours either in order to be healthy! Yes, I eat healthy, nutritious meals most of the time, but that doesn’t mean I never skip a workout or eat non-nutritious meals. I’m human. I never want to live a restrictive life and I don’t think you should have to either. It’s all about balance, friends!💙
