New and old. A modern day San Diego Red Trolly zooms past the “Teakettle” steam locomotive at our La Mesa Depot location.
Though the depot is usually only open on Saturday’s for a few hours, our train and outdoor displays are very much accessible to the public each day and are free. The depot itself, is the oldest surviving commercial building in the city of La Mesa. It stands today thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and the support of our community.
