Deadlifting today. Weights felt heavy. Idk why. Whole session.juat felt heavy. Moved weight great last week with with only a little less on the bar. I've learned these types.of days just happen in training. It's important not to let it get in my head.
First vid was a failed attempt on 3rd set I have no idea what happened. Sorry about the language Mom.
Second vid was the actual final set after the previous one. Got it. Tad sloppy.

@iadinisdoring
Exemplo de foco e determinação !

“You must do the things you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
Eleanor Roosevelt’s words are so powerful. Her #wise thoughts have resonated with me since high school and they’ve stuck with me as I’ve grown. For me, her words represent how I should live my life and I strive to do so. Much easier said than done, at least for me, but I keep on trying.
The power in these words, for me, lies in the “you think.” I should, and I’m sure will, do many more posts on these two small but mighty powerful words. What you think is not necessarily the truth. You don’t have to believe what you think. You can think one thing while believing, deep down, just the opposite. I think we so often believe (in our hearts and in our deepest core) in something, that we can do something, that we are ready and #strong and excited, but then our mind takes control.
It’s hard to battle with your mind. You need strong tools to do it. So, when your #mind tells you that it’s not the truth, that it’s not right, that it’s too hard, too risky, too scary, stupid, or wrong in a million different ways, you usually listen. It’s overbearing and hard to ignore.
Your mind controls your actions SO (and I will spend much more time on this in future posts) YOU have to control your mind, you can’t let it control you.
And that is the point of Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote, at least for me. “You must do the things you think you cannot do.” You must push back when your mind tells you no and demand that your truth be heard. If you believe that you can do something and you’re hungry for it, then you CAN do it. Period.
And so, you must do it so that you can live your truth and live happy. Your truth is what you believe. Your thoughts and beliefs are not always aligned. Get your thoughts in line so that they do not threaten your beliefs and go for what you want!
Easy as pie, right?
Think happy. Go do!

More about this exercise:
The deadlift is a great total body strength exercise. Use of a trap bar enables the lifter to maintain a more upright posture and keeps the weight closer to the lifters center of gravity offering a mechanical advantage when compared to deadlifting with a barbell. Use of a trap bar may decrease risk of injury.
