I made 3 new @soupelinala soups this week and the green pea one was delicious, but my favorite was this #yam one with tons of warming cardamom and all kinds of other goodness. It’s amazing on its own, but today I added some leftover roasted sweet potato, sunflower seeds and chopped peanuts. YUM!! #soup #soupfordays

Gatti, fuochi e fiamme! Cosa c’è di meglio per scaldarsi dopo una camminata sotto una bella nevicata abbondante... aggiungi anche una vellutata di porri... ed il mood #dietetico ma con #stile è assicurato!
Ricettiva facile e veloce... metti a stufare con un po’ di brodo vegetale 1/2 porro ed una piccola patata entrambi tagliati a cubetti... quando saranno morbidi ed insaporiti aggiungi circa 250ml di altro brodo... lascia bollire a fuoco moderato finché la zuppa non avrà raggiunto una consistenza cremosa... ci vogliono circa 10/15 min (in ogni caso.. più cuoce meglio è 😉).. Se vedi che si asciuga troppo aggiungi un po’ d’acqua.. frulla tutto col frullatore ad immersione... per impiattare aggiungi una noce di ricotta e dei crostini di pane che avrai rosolato in padella precedentemente insaporendoli con paprika ed origano.. piatto servito..Facile no!

💫 OLD TRANSFORMATION PHOTO 💫
For anyone who has recently started following me, this is my previous journey, which is similar to what I’m on now 😄
I started at 10st 1lb previously and got down to my initial goal of 9st, then amended it to 8st 10lb which I hit. I wasn’t quite 10st in the pic on the left though, but the right is at target!
I rejoined @slimmingworld at the start of this year. I weigh in on Thursdays! I lost 4lbs in my first week, 0.5lb the next and my third weigh in is tomorrow, so hoping for another loss.
Day-to-day I am cabin crew and work part time around this. As you can imagine, flying long haul and eating properly can take its toll, we also eat all around the clock being in different time zones and working night flights, so over the past two years of flying I gained a few lbs here and there.
Previously, I have been a member online, at group and then not a member at all but still ‘following’ the plan and weighing at home - for me, I need the strictness of knowing someone else is going to weigh me and see my results. So I am now super motivated and making a lot more of an effort to eat healthier.
Hoping to reach my target within three months, so watch this space. I have 11.5lbs to go! 😁

Tomato & basil soup...this is a very comforting soup on a cold day and perfect for supper post rugby and netball matches.
I have served these with @pizzaexpress dough balls to keep it fun for children and just right for mopping up the last drops of soup (even if it is bad table manners 😉!) This recipe is from @maryberryappreciation Absolute Favourites and is simple to make and freezes well.
1 large onion, roughly chopped
1 large carrot, finely chopped
2 celery sticks
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 x 400g tins of chopped tomatoes
750ml chicken stock
3tbsp tomato purée
1tbsp light muscovado sugar
2tbsp chopped basil
Salt and pepper
Heat the oil in a large pan and add the onion, carrot and celery and fry over a medium heat, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a minute.
Add all the remaining ingredients except the basil and stir. Bring to the boil, season, lower the heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Tip in the basil and whizz in a food processor until a purée. Serve hot and garnished with basil. So warming.

Krém z červené řepy 🍲 Miluji krémové polévky. Jsou rychle hotové, zahřejí a jsou syté, takže mi často slouží i jako oběd, když zrovna kvůli malé nestíhám vyvařovat, ale odmítám hladovět. Tahle z červené řepy je plná zeleniny a díky přidané mrkvi lehce nasládlá, proto chutná i dětem, takže win win 👌🙂 Suroviny:
500 g červené řepy
1 větší mrkev
750 ml zeleninového vývaru
zakysaná smetana na ozdobu a zjemnění chuti
kvalitní slunečnicový olej
Mrkev a řepu si oloupeme a spolu s cibulí nakrájíme na drobné kostičky. Na rozpáleném oleji orestujeme cibuli, přidáme mrkev a řepu, stáhneme teplotu sporáku pod polovinu a cca 15 minut restujeme. Poté zalijeme vývarem a dusíme doměkka. Nakonec vše rozmixujeme tyčovým mixérem a ochutíme solí a pepřem. Při servírování dozdobíme lžíci zakysané smetany.

One of my favourite late-evening comfort foods - chili chicken ramen from Wagamama 😋
They have a selection of 5 ramen dishes, but I think chili chicken is by far the best 🔝 Arrives perfect 90% of the time 😅
They do need to brush up on their answering time - sometimes I wait for 5-6 minutes before they take my order 🙄 So it's best to call when you're feeling extra patient 😁
Tip: If you're not a fan of super spicy food, it's best to remove the red chili slices 🌶

I never pretend to have my shit together. In fact as much as I'd love to be a successful mommy blogger with perfect hand made treats fresh from a spotlessly clean oven and rock hard abs from working out while lifting a perfectly content baby on white carpets, I think those mom's are unicorns. It never hurts to believe in them but don't get yourself down because you aren't one.
Its not unusual that I realize two hours after getting to work that I have last nights mascara smeared on my face. And sometimes I don't switch my laundry over to the dryer right away because I simply forget...for three days. I make cookies from "scratch"(scratching open boxed mixes) and the last time I did cardio was when I ran my toddler to the potty WHILE he was crapping in my arms.
For all you non-unicorn mom's...keep it real. Today I'm home with sick kids. I'm busy and tired. So I made myself Mr. Noodle for lunch. I added some left over ground beef, broccoli, green onions and celery. Keepsimple. Keep your sanity.
