Fixed bars are great for allowing you to challenge the global twisting length from your wrist to your shoulders. "Carefully" build up to the double arm reverse grab and feel the benefits in the elbow wrist and shoulder.
Also very happy with getting my pulling endurance back up again. I'm on my way to 20 pulls on the rings once again. Considering early last month I couldn't get more than 5-6 reps in and now I'm at a comfortable 9 with only 1 focused day of ring work and no forearm or elbow pain, I'm looking forward to when I switch over to heavy ring work to see the gains.

Monday’s are hard work and so are press ups! There are great reasons to add press ups to your routine; shoulder proprioception, chest and arm strengthening and functional training as we do push movements in our normal routine! ——————————————————————————🗝 Here’s two variations which incorporate key training elements such as speed and control into the usual press up form! ——————————————————————————
1️⃣ The first is using a bosu ball- just fall into the press up position on the ball and push back up to an upright position. The element of recoil is great way to add speed and force to your training! ——————————————————————————
2️⃣The second is using a football (a real challenge 💪🏼). Place one hand on the ball and lower yourself into a press up position. Come up and switch the ball over to the other side! This will really put your coordination and control to the test!

Don’t be afraid to change up the program. .
Started with the intentions to do biceps. Did some curls and they didn’t feel #💯 .
So I changed up to #shoulders and they feel great. Time to rep this shit out. .
Workout consists of Arnold presses. Front felt raise. Dumbbell upward row. Behind the back cable pull up to sides. And face pulls to finish it off. .

Here’s a few clips I managed to record from my Saturday workout with herself. We did a killer shoulder sesh ( couldn’t feel my shoulders after it 😂) then we did triceps and finished with a bit of abs. It’s my first time editing and I’m going to try and edit more. We all have to start somewhere. .

Upright row as part of tonight’s shoulder workout.
One of the most common exercises you see with poor technique!
Main teaching points- 💥 Straight arms, hands shoulder width apart
💥 Keep the bar close to your body, brace the abs and spine neutral as you pull the bar up to your shoulders 💥 Lead with elbows!!! Keep the elbows pointing up, above the forearms- aim for that ‘V’ shape. Less pressure on the elbows= less risk of injury

I may be in Vegas, and I might be eating a lot (currently over 90kg BW ☹️) but it doesn't change the fact that come Sunday, I have my first strongman competition at under 90kg, hence the sad face. -
I'm hoping that the linear progression that has happened since new years eve, with a dedicated programme that I've managed to follow quite well, that my deadlift for the day will be around 215-220kg. I'm also hoping that's a decent number for a novice Comp. -
Me being me of course, have also signed up for another comp 3 weeks after this one. Luckily I know the deadlift is 170kg for reps in a minute. -
The videos are of my back down sets at around this weight, after hitting my heavy triples at just under 200kg. -
Bearing in mind I added about 10kg in 4 weeks and pulled a 215kg at the end of January, can anyone guess the weight I'll hit on the day? -
