Self care has never looked better on you, babe
I slept in yesterday. Stuffed my face with dim sum. Window shopped for makeup. Binge watched some anime. Decided that eating a third of my Nutella jar was a good idea of coping stress.
What is #selfcare and what it is not? It’s NOT the fluffy, self-indulgent kind of behavior excusing activity used to market anything from expensive spa days to junk food and Netflix binges. It is looking after yourself by deliberately choosing to engage, maintain, and enhance our health and well-being.
Deep breathing techniques. Beginning & ending your days with meditation. Engaging in a hobby. Socializing with friends. Eating regular and healthy meals. Pursue meaningful work. Developing positive relationships with co-workers, friends, and family.
Be honest when evaluating your current behaviors. I still have to take moments for myself to consider what I value and need in my everyday life.

“Aren’t you afraid of ending up alone?” He asked.
“No,” she responded distantly, “I am far more afraid of being in a room full of boring people trying to blend in.”.
