W H Y W I L D L Y W O N D E R F U L? .
Did anyone else take as long as me to try and come up with the perfect name for your business? I think it’s so important that your name portrays a feeling, an idea of what your values are and aim to achieve. I could have used my own name but I wanted to create a brand that stands out “like we all do!”. I woke up in the middle of the night with this one 🤣 it took me a few weeks to try and think of other options but this is the one that stuck! W I L D L Y is the word to represent my outdoor love 🌳🌷and to incorporate eco friendly elements into an event so that in the future there will still be a wild environment left. 🌱🦒You would also portray W I L D L Y as your wild side 🦁😉... to push the boat out, to just say “we only do this once let’s go for it” and for me to help you create a wedding that is so spectacular, your guests won’t believe their eyes!
W O N D E R F U L is just, well everything is wonderful surely when you’re planning a wedding!? It’s a feeling that you have when you’re on cloud 9 ☁️ and don’t want to come down. That’s my aim, to make sure you are feeling relaxed, inspired, excited and just wonderful on the lead up and on your wedding day and I wouldn’t settle for anything less !💕
So in short, (yes that was the short version 🤣) that’s the explanation of what was going on in my brain when naming and creating my brand. If you’ve got down this far then thank you so much for reading 😘 .

It’s finally warmed up here in Hill Country Texas. I see 90’ on the weather forecast this coming week. ☀️ Warmer weather makes me happy to have indoor weddings this summer .😅
As much as I love the sun (and my husband says I’m solar powered), I don’t feel it’s in the best interest of the guests to be married outside in July Texas heat. 💥
My next wedding is at @golfclub_texas. This will be an outdoor ceremony with a mostly indoor reception.
I think that’s perfect for a late May wedding. 🦋
As way of introductions this Friday, share with me what your favorite wedding venue is that is indoors? ⬇️
And it doesn’t have to be in Texas. Feel free to share me all your destination spits as well. 🏖

I've been wanting to share more tips with you all because I get questions a lot from potential and also topics come up in conversations that clients never realize until we talk about it. So I figured why not share the wealth of knowledge with you all as things come up. It’s my job to educate and help guide so here’s a wedding planning tip for you on this lovely Wednesday.
If you're getting married outside and it's not an atypical wedding venue, there's a lot to think about in terms of logistics. Just because you found a cool Airbnb or camp and want to keep it simple, it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be easier. A few things to think about in the process:
1. Think about your rentals such as additional lighting, chairs, tables, dance floor, etc.
2. Are there adequate bathrooms for all of your guests on site?
3. Do you have staff or gracious family members and friends to move things a day or two before the wedding?
5. If you're doing a food truck or simple buffet brought in, remember you still need staff! Who is going to pick up trash, replenish food and drinks? Your guests won't do it so be sure to hire professional staff for the day. It will make things so much easier! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just remember to keep these extra details and logistics in mind. This one was one of our favorites because the camp staff was super helpful and the bride and groom had so much help from friends and family the days leading up to the wedding that it was such a smooth day! But don't be fooled we talked through all these logistics prior to the day and figured out our game plan and it was so so good. There are ways to make it work, but having a planner to bring up the nitty gritty details is worth it. So there you have it friends, Happy Wednesday!

In growing your business one important question to ask yourself is what is an unmet need? What do you feel like is an unmet need in the design or even industry?

Sometimes all it takes is a look. The achingly beautiful Emily, looking cool, calm and serene on her wedding day. You’d never know it was as the hottest day on record in the Mafra valley of Lisbon and we we were melting!
