In the last few weeks, more than once I found myself being awake at 2am. During the day, I find myself busy with doing, trying to schedule things in to maintain a sense of normalcy. The practice becomes more of a refuge than ever, the sense of “being” feels like medicine.
Beditation - meditation in the comforts of your bed - is an intention to connect us in practice, "being" together, wherever you may be in the world.
On April 10 (Fri) HKT 2200-2230, GMT 1500, EST 1000; we will practice BODY SCAN. A seemingly easy practice of doing NOTHING, this mindfulness practice may cultivate awareness and kindness in the body. It may also help: - release unnecessary holding in the body

P.S. ok once was for attending an online meditation 😆and I started sleeping better after starting to offer online classes last Wednesday. It feels like an anchor, giving me a foothold in the world, a sense of connection, keeping me sane and supported. So I am very much doing this for myself too😗

Details on our online yoga class:
Hi students, due to the policy made by hk government, we are forced to close until 23/4 for now ,and waiting for further notice.
Which app should I use?
You can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to downloan an app called Zoom website/app. You can choose to take livestream class or recorded videos.
How Does it Work?
Usually two blocks, a blanket, a pillow and a yoga belt would be needed.
After you have booked the class through inbox or whatsapp us, we would send you a link with the password. Around five minutes Before the class started, you click the link, login to your Zoom account, and then you will see a live video feed of the teacher.
Zoom is an online platform for video conferencing and meetings.
If it is your first time to use Zoom, you can download the app for your phone/tablet and then set up a “Basic” account which is free.
If you are using your computer, go to “zoom.us”, set up a “Basic” account. The website will download some software on your computer (it only takes a minute or two). How Do I Register?

Book at least 30 minutes before the start of the class. Message us for booking matters.
$100 for 60-minute online classes
you may also deduct a class from your class package for one hatha and one restorative pranayama or meditation class.

King dancer pose, aka natarajasana, is a pose that I have little to no progress in a year in terms of how deep/ how high I can extend my leg despite all efforts.
However, I can easily warm up to king dancer in a vinyasa flow now as compared to a year ago. A progress that is less measurable & invisible to physical eyes.
My day-to-day king dancer varies a lot even with very similar warm ups. The first & second photo were taken a day apart. I would say the warm ups are 99% the same 😂 The main photo was taken a day later and my shoulders tightened up so much. I was like “What did I do in my sleep? Why is my shoulders so tight today?” when I attempted to kick my leg higher but my shoulders didn’t have space to extend more 🤣
Always respect our body limitations during practice & don’t get too attach to any poses because poses come & go especially the difficult ones. I had lost this pose so many times in the past, but practice continues no matter what.
Abhyasa (effort) and Vairagya (non-attachment). In simple English, they mean “be resolute in our efforts and not be fixated on the outcome of those efforts”, both on & off mat.
