Anyways...Ever since I was a kid I’ve never been a very big human. I guess I’ve always been what is labeled as a hard gainer. This has always been a difficulty for me. Both physically and mentally.
Let me put it like this, my sophomore year of high school I weighed in at a whopping 98 pounds. I was on the wrestling team and they always struggle to find someone to wrestle against me.
Moving forward, I was always a pretty active kid and young adult. I would always be the first one to join into athletic competitions but was always the last one picked. NO BIG DEAL.
This isn’t a sob story.
Moving forward even further I got involved with stupid stuff ran with the wrong people and didn’t really care about my health and or really truly achieving any athletic goals. But I always knew that there was something I did love to do that always kept me active but was this something you ask?
So I did this as much as I could and as often as I could and realized I was still pretty good at it. But there was still something that was missing, the competitive side, the part that always wanted me to push further, harder and see what I can truly accomplish.
So HERE I AM
DAY 1, WEEK 1 of 8 and I’m always up for a good challenge, especially if it leads to bettering myself as well as the people around me.

前から覗きに来て下さっている皆さん（いつも本当にありがとうございます🙏😭✨）は、以前こちらで「 #新生姜 の甘酢漬け（amazu-zuke）（ #pickledsweetvineger）」を #赤梅酢とリンゴジュースのみ で作ったのをアップしたのを覚えて下さっているかと思うのですが、あの後、リンゴの品種を変えたり果物を変えたりして作った内の1つであり、最高に美味しかった「新生姜のみかん甘酢漬け」です😉✨ 1人1つ渡せたらいい方だった今冬のみかん、低速ジューサーで絞ったのですが、生姜300g?前後でみかん5つも必要でした😨💦。残りカスはスイーツに。皮は、乾燥して、、、、、粉にする予定が、カチカチになり過ぎました（笑）。。 恵方巻き、これで終わりです、、、長い道のりでした😍💦。

We mentioned we had our surgical practicing on Thursday were we will have to demonstrate competency with knot tying and suturing, as well as OR sterility techniques, including gowning and globing. Here’s a demo of how we learned two-hand and one-hand knot tying! We’re hoping this will develop into a skill that we can use to impress preceptors with during future rotations. This kit is convenient to practice on, but you can practice on anything around the house as well!
