Unedited first attempt at handstand in over 7 month. Until ~3 weeks ago my wrist wasnt even capable of doing a plank. This was my only attempt and will go back at it again in a couple weeks when I feel stronger, however stem cells are definitely helping. 6 months of no improvement at all in wrist. Just over a month after stem cells and seeing a huge improvement.
Stem Cell treatment was done by @regenerativeperformance after months of research. Highest of recommendations for seeing him if interested in a treatment. Flying out to Arizona was well worth it, he really cares about healing you.

I give more and more time to the tuck handstand and it became my favorite way to get on my hands. In that position, I really need to concentrate on my breathing and push my shoulders to open more.

#365HANDSTANDCHALLENGE DAY 122
Officially a third of the way through the year of handstands!! This drill is a toughy.I'm on laminate floor but I believe you can also do this on carpet if you put your feet on a magazine or something else slidey!
I'm on the top of my toes and I'm leaning my weight into my hands as I go. I'm thinking of scooping my belly button inwards and upwards and trying to get my hips up. I'm also trying to get my shoulders to tip forward of my wrists like they would if I was doing a real straddle press.
Try three sets of five, they're quite brutal!

Realmente piensas que es yoga?
_Yo prefiero no pensarlo como un reto para nutrir el ego sino como una herramienta para aplicarla en mi vida. Prefiero no subestimar la capacidad que tengo como ser humano de verme caer y levantarme mil veces hasta lograr mis metas. Así que lo guardo como recuerdo de que, lo que hoy se me hace tan fácil empezó desde abajito, desde cero, tuvo un trabajo duro que solo yo ví, de esa manera jamás habrá espacio para el ego.

This is what happens when you get bored during warmup 😂 How fast can you do 10 straddles? Try it for fun and comment below👇your best time or tag me. Rules are simple. Your feet must touch at the top and your legs must open to your widest straddle (my best was 8.5 sec). Couple tips:
▪️Tension and speed are not best friends. So stay loose and don’t try to force it.
▪️Go for 12 and trim the first and last one which will probably be a little slower because of reduced momentum.

56 sekunder! 😡 Varför ska det va så svårt att klara den där minuten?
Är ändå hyfsat nöjd för jag håller en betydligt rakare linje än tidigare rekordförsök. 😃
3 försök idag, 47, 52 och 56 sek. Det tar bra på axlarna men är ändå betydligt mindre slitsamt än när man stod mer banan.

Sometimes it doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be done. 🤸🏼♀️
So for the past almost a year since I’ve started my free handstand journey, I’ve been working on building my stamina to sets of 1 min’ on my hands each time. 🤸🏼♀️
My current work for the last few months are sets of 70 sec’ (not that they’re always 70 sec’ straight, but accumulated), so that eventually 5 sets of 60 sec’ will be easy.
And it’s true, it’s getting easier. Yesterday in practice I managed 2 sets of 70 sec’ straight out of 4 sets that I did. 🤸🏼♀️
That being said, it doesn’t mean that my handstand line is anywhere near perfect. But it doesn’t have to be. That’s besides the point. Sure, the line can be better, but it doesn’t have to be perfect for me to stick a one min’ handstand.
I just have to stick it and not give up.
And that my friends, is the hardest part. To keep at it when your hands get tired, and start to burn, when you feel like you’ve been upside down forever.. Just keep on going. I’ll fix my line, and it will get “cleaner” too, but in the meantime I’m not looking for perfection, I’m just getting it done. 🤸🏼♀️
And that is true in so many other areas in life. Don’t look for perfection, just get things done.
