Avoid mediocrity. Fight your dopamine urges and you will be successful. That ain't no motivational bs, that's just how things are.
I still occasionally struggle with this issue, but I feel like I'm on the right path. Everyday that I wake up I feel even more motivated, and the belief that I'll get everything I've ever wanted grows stronger every time that I look myself in the mirror.
Stay focused 🔥

I have counselling clients that I see to discuss their birth experience. Birth doesn’t always go as planned. For some of my clients their births felt like things were out of control and completely overwhelming. It was traumatic.
I hear this saying all too often: “well at least you have a healthy baby. Healthy Mom and healthy baby is all that matters, right?!”
⭐️Let me tell you what we know about #trauma. Trauma is anything that is sudden, overwhelming, unexpected, and leaves us feeling helpless and/or out of control.
👉🏼The bottom line is that anything can be experienced as traumatic by anyone if they feel traumatized.⭐️
💔DON’T do this: Diminishing another persons feelings about whatever their experience was does NOT make their feelings go away or make them feel better! In fact, it actually can make it feel worse.
💘DO this: Acknowledging their pain, spending time listening to them share, sitting with them in the difficult emotions instead of rushing to try and make it better (most often for yourself), offering them support, and letting them know they aren’t alone are all ways you can #validate their experience, and in turn, help them find #healing.
Has anyone else experienced both sides of these comments?
