Growing up, i had this morbid fascination with guns and hunting. I took part in hunts for pleasure, to experience an adrenaline gush that one gets when chasing animals in hostile environment. Back then had someone asked me to stop I would have asked him/her to mind their business. I was a man with a gun.
But along the way, i became friends with people who told me to use my knowledge for the benefit of the animals i hunt. It took them some time to convince me, but they succeeded. Today, at the start of every hunting season, i join my friends in the rugged mountains up north to shoot these animals- not with a gun but with cameras. To all the hunters out there, drop your guns and observe these beautiful creatures in the wild. Trust me, you’ll not regret this decision once you watch them in their natural habitat as fellow living being and not as a hunter.
