Progress part 2 ✏️✏️
I don’t really talk about my creative work on here but I am currently making the big leap to go fully self employed as my health means that I am unable to do a ‘normal’ job that requires set days in an office etc. without draining all my energy and leaving me with none for being a mum. This exciting venture is a page that means people who enjoy my illustrations and content are able to become patrons at different levels. They pay a monthly fee of 2,5,10 or 20 dollars and this enables me to create awesome gifts and rewards for them AND support my family while doing the stuff that I love from home. Leaving me with enough energy to be the mummy I want to be. .
So if anyone is interested in getting the rewards I have planned and wants to come on this adventure with me - please follow my art account @kerrygolightly and head over to my Patreon page www.patreon.com/kerrygolightly or follow the link on my Instagram profile. .
I also have a SPECIAL OFFER running for a very limited time - if you sign up to either of the top two tiers you get an exclusively designed postcard with a personal message sent right to your door! .
Please let me know if you have any feedback on my page as I’d love to hear what you think 💟

Usually I post a selfie (although I'm not really a selfie taker) to denote a personal post, but I've just been crying tears of gratitude so I'll spare you guys my red-eyed, red-nosed face! @kamredlawsk wrote the most incredible blog post about my illness journey. I can't even begin to articulate how touched I am by the time and effort she spent putting the story together.
My #swshealthjourney posts give an extremely limited idea of my daily reality. Her post shares a MUCH more thorough and accurate story of my life than I've ever posted here on Instagram (so if you're curious, the article in my bio link is the place to go!). I'm so humbled by the fact that Kam, who also struggles with genetic muscle wasting disease, felt inspired to create one of my very favorite pieces of meaningful art (pictured here), AND to give my story a voice at a time when it's too physically difficult for me to fully articulate. What greater gift is there than to be seen, understood, honored and loved by another human being in your darkest hour?
@kamredlawsk is a superhero in the chronic illness community, a gifted artist and an all around incredible person. I encourage all of you to follow her art and personal blog. She'll open your eyes, mind and heart in magnificent ways. I love you, Kam! 💖💖💖
