Week 3 of my 6 Week Cut ✅
Starting weight ➡️ 78.5kg
Week 1 average weight ➡️ 77.6kg
Week 2 average weight ➡️ 76.7kg
Week 3 average weight ➡️ 76.2kg
Total weight lost ➡️ 2.3kg (5lbs)
This week I lost a total of 0.5kg which is significantly less in comparison to Week 1 & 2 where I lost 0.9kg each week! I think there are two main reasons for the decrease in my rate of weight loss:
1. During the initial stages of a cut, weight loss is always a little quicker! This is because the sudden drop in calories (carbs in particular) will trigger a loss in water weight which will lead to a big drop on the scales ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I think I am pretty much out of that initial phase and all the water weight I had to lose is now lost, so to speak! This is kind of a good thing because at least I know that any drop on the scales from here on in will mostly be from a decrease in fat! 🙌
2. This week I have found myself a lot less hungry during the day. Therefore, when it gets to 9 or 10pm, I still have approx 900 of my 2500 calories left to eat. This is great because it means I get to have a big feast at night BUT it also means that the reading on the scales is going to be heavier the following morning (simply because I’m eating way more food closer to my weigh-in time)!🍿
However, since I’m aware of this it’s not an issue at all because as long as I stick to my 2500 calories per day, it doesn’t matter what time I them at ☺️

Bonjour à tous, bonne séance pec et triceps ce matin, et peu de monde pendant mon training, donc top pour bien s'entraîner 😉. J'ai commencé par des écartés haltères ainsi qu'un exo au TRX pour essayer d'activer mes pectoraux, quand on a du mal de ressentir les muscles qu'on veut travailler, c'est bien de les "réveiller", de les activer en début de séance. L'exercice au trx ressemble à un tirage comme pour travailler le dos, sauf que là il faut se concentrer sur la contraction des pecs, ce n'est pas facile, mais c'est pas mal. Et ensuite j'ai fait ma séance normal avec plusieurs autres exos, des triceps et j'ai ajouté 2 exercices pour les abdos car il faut que j'essaie de + les travailler. J'espère que vous passez un bon dimanche, le mien a bien commencé avec une bonne séance sport 😁😁👏👏👍👍

I’ve decided to switch federations to the BP (formally GBPF). Obviously they use stiff bars for deadlifts so all my trainjng will be done on this bar - 235kg on the bar, exactly a week after comp. I genuinely recon there’s a big deadlift coming at the end of this year for sure!

Squatting has always been a scary lift for me. A lot of confidence is lost in my negative thinking pattern when it comes to how much I can actually lift. My best rep out of 200kg before this was 3, a shitty three at that. I’ve doubled that today - obviously 200kg on the bar in full @sbdapparel kit!

RPE9 at 190kg which is my current max ! So there’s definitely something in there to push over that magic 200kg next weekend ! Followed by a 🚨 PB 🚨 3x3 @170kg @stanleyhinks94 is bringing out some real numbers in me ! Can’t thank him enough !
