If you would have asked me this morning if I could run 10 miles, I would have most likely told you no. That was my weakness. Now that I have run 10 miles I can, with confidence, tell you yes! I didn't prep for this, I didn't train for this. I came into the gym, started walking and felt good, so I went for it. I now have a 10 miles time. And am to beat it. 10 mile-177.5 minutes
I also weighed in at 264 lb this am.

There’s not much as fun as watching a mature deer in full rut. Grunting, chasing does, and fighting. It’s amazing to watch nature run its course. #meateater

Building a big, strong back is far from easy. Being that it’s a huge group of muscles, it generally requires higher mechanical loading and high volume training in order to grow. Training your back correctly will make a man (or woman) out of you, and it isn’t for the feint of heart.
Here are some of my tips for building a wide, thicccc, back.
1️⃣ Heavy deadlifts, rows, and pulldowns. To force adaptation, you need to stress your back in ways it hasn’t been stressed before, meaning heavy mechanical loading. This doesn’t mean you should be throwing technique out the window to pull heavier weights. Form is #1 most important.
2️⃣ Deadlifts are the foundation. Train with relatively low reps and volume with great form and heavy weights.
3️⃣ Pull-ups and pulldowns for back width. A wide back makes your torso appear more tapered and your waist look thinner. High volume, moderate to heavy weights to build up those lats.
4️⃣ Heavy rows for back thickness. This could be barbell rows, DB rows, T-bar rows, etc. All are great for building up the thickness of your back.
5️⃣ Don’t neglect your erectors. Your lumbar spine is crucial for movement, stability, and overall daily functioning. Utilize back hyperextensions, stiff legged deadlifts, and a number of other exercises to ensure that you’re strengthening your erectors and protecting your lumbar area from injury. Some lumbar injuries could put you out of commission for months or even years if severe enough. Prevention is the best treatment.

It has nothing to do with bodybuilding, bank accounts, or body counts; neither on the battlefield nor in the bedroom.
I was fortunate enough to have a responsible father, but like so many in his generation, he seemed just as frustrated and confused with his own masculinity as I and helpless in guiding me into it.
I’d searched and found supplementary father figures, guides in my own self engineered initiation.
In this search I’ve apprenticed myself to athletes, philosophers, businessmen, artists, comedians and warriors, but I can point out no higher exemplar of my ideal of masculinity than pro bow hunter, ultra marathon runner, and frequent @joerogan guest @cameronrhanes
Calm, capable, ambitious, disciplined and ecstatic; He embodies the virtues of strength, courage, mastery and honor laid out in The Way of Men by @starttheworld
Capability and accountability with an omnipresent grin that testifies to the salience of Japanese swordmaster Miyamoto Mushashi’s advice in The Book of Five Rings: Think deeply of the world, and lightly of yourself.
