Last night there was a soccer match between Iran and Bolivia which might be a turning point in Iran’s history after Islamic revolution. It was the first time that Iranian women were allowed to go to the stadium. I was the only woman photorapher there, reporting this interesting issue.I took some intetesting videos and photos of this event. you can check them out in my profile #iraniangirl #iran #feminism

I turned 27 this past Sunday. Woah, weird. Thank you to everyone who congratulated me. It means the world that you remembered my birthday. A special shoutout to the the IFLI crew for making my birthday memorable. Without the following people I don’t think I would have survived my 26th year. It was challenging, but equally as rewarding. .
My parents, thank you for your genes. As I’ve gotten older and the situation in Venezuela has become worse I can finally understand your sacrifices. I am so lucky to have you as parents. You raised me in such an empowering way that I hope to pass onto my future children. Your efforts got me to Oxford. .
@rafael_woldeab, you’re my day one. Our friendship cannot be explained in words feasible of comprehension. Everyday I think about how lucky I am to have a best friend like you. You have always, always had my back. You also have definitely told me what’s up, straight up. You do it so tenderly and thoughtfully. Thank you for your friendship since 2010. .
@elwiltshire, my B.B., my biggest girl crush. I still remember the night we met, haha. I’ll leave it there. I immediately knew that we would be friends when I saw the enormous panda in your living room and all the Polaroids. We have had so many hilarious and sweet moments together from dancing at Rock and Roll Hotel to missing my flight in NYC. Our friendship reminded me of how empowering a solid friendship with a woman can be. Thank you for your honesty and introducing me to broad city. I have never had a best gal pal, but you’re pretty damn close. .
@carterbanker, my celiac princess, I adore you! I would not be surviving Indonesia without you right now. Your intelligence and benevolence surprises me everyday. You are always so willing to help me and others. You are hyper aware of your privilege which speaks volumes of you as a human. I am so lucky to have a friend like you who always listens without judgement as well as shows patience in times of anxiety and stress. .
