Daily DOOZY! Workout #12
Attack the day team! Begin the week with a new mindset, new goals, new habits. This down time is what a lot of us needed not to lay around (although some of us do need to do that) but to reset our perspective and work on the little things we always put off to the side due to our daily routines. Utilize this time of uncertainty to work on yourself and work on the things you HAVE control of.
WORKOUT: Tabata 20sec work/10sec rest.
Perform each exercise with purpose! (As fast and as intense as possible) for 20sec. Followed by a 10sec rest period prior to the following exercise. 1min rest between rounds. Aiming for 6Rounds (no less than 4) of pure metabolic scorch. Enjoy 😇 💪🏽
1. ALI 🥊 SHUFFLE (switch feel back & forth as quickly as possible/follow with arms/opposite arm, opposite leg)
2. PLANK JACKS (hold a high plank position/while maintaining your hips low switch from narrow to a wide stance with your feet)
3. SINGLE ARM SPRAWLS (alternate hands/make sure to land with a braced core and stand up fully/feel free to use both hands if it becomes difficult)
4. IN-OUT SQUATS (sink your hips to a semi-squat and stay low/switch your feel from narrow to wide stance back and forth)
Stay positive! Things will come back to normal and when they do I would hate to look back and say “damn I wish I would have” instead let’s work on ourselves “self-care” is not a selfish act.
