9 hours ago [no poppies were harmed in making this photo]. As I was writing today, I started reflecting on the past five years and all the incredible people who helped and opened doors along the way. Some I wasn't ready for and others I took in stride. The kindness and support I've received over the years has not been taken for granted. Everyone who has given me an opportunity or pulled me further along has a space in my mind and heart. Thank you for the support, for the experience, for the generosity. I'm eternally grateful and it will not be in vain. Someday soon, it will come full circle and I will never, ever forget. Photo by @darrylwdelaney#love#thankful#poppyfields#poppy
1 day ago Virginia Robinson Garden, Tennis Court in Beverly Hills w/ @corinnealane The floor was dusted and the walls a salmon that camouflaged behind the flowing pink flowers. I surprisingly wanted to play in this space and explore it's history in particular.
2 weeks ago Taking a break from all my homework to post a photo of what I look like nowadayz... but like, with a professional photographer, studio lighting and a talented make-up artist. 😜photo by @artistfootprint makeup 💄 by @jennluxeight
4 weeks ago My family are immigrants. They came here against many odds and lived lives I could only imagine. They're survivors and have gone through what seemed to be insurmountable obstacles. Even so, they gave me an incredible life and spoiled me the best they could. I often felt heavy guilt for pursuing an art form instead of what I initially made a living off of. But the deeper I dive into acting, the more I realize that everything they went through and what they taught me makes me a better artist than I could've ever been without. They chose to live in California, one of the most expensive states to live in and bought a house through hard work and grit, they taught me multiple languages growing up because they had to assimilate to different cultures in their journey, they taught me the value of money because of their own survival needs and generosity because of their big hearts. They taught me how to create a career I didn't think I could have and when I made the difficult decision to leave that career to pursue my acting career, to my gratitude, they told me I was enough and continue to support me to keep going, and going and going. I am proud they made me into the woman I am today. #immigrants#family#love#asianamerican#actress
